Ivanka Trump given a Deadline by New York Judge after Running Away From Fraud Lawsuit

No one in the Trump mafia will escape justice:

New York Attorney General Letitia James is demanding that Ivanka Trump provide more information related to her involvement in the Trump Organization’s tax fraud lawsuit , which James is suing Donald Trump and his three eldest children (including sons Donald Jr. and Eric) for $250 million over.

A judge has given Ivanka a deadline to cooperate or face legal consequences. With her father being accused of either inflating or undervaluing assets for financial gain, Ivanka is now in the spotlight and being scrutinized for her role in the fraud scandal .

CNN anchor Erin Burnett suggested a deluge of legal troubles for Trump could come to a head in August, to include the election crimes and classified documents probes, obstruction, and “maybe espionage” charges.

A new letter from election crimes prosecutor Fani Willis signals indictments of ex-President Donald Trump in Fulton County’s grand jury investigation of Trump’s effort to overturn election results in Georgia are likely coming in August.

Trump claims he drew a larger crowd than MLK jr did for the March on Washington

His lies know no bounds:

Former President Donald Trump claims he previously drew a crowd larger than the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King did during the historic March on Washington, according to Mediaite. On Friday, June 17, Trump delivered a speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual conference in Nashville, Tenn.

Not even close:

Official estimates for the “Salute to America” speech in 2020 are unavailable, but the Chicago Tribune reported that crowds were “strikingly thinner” than Trump’s speech in 2019. There are also no official estimates for attendance in 2019.

Trump said his speech on January 6, 2021, which preceded the Capitol riot, had even more attendance than his speeches on the National Mall. The speech, he claimed, involved “the largest number of people I’ve ever spoken to.”

The former president has repeatedly claimed that the crowd size was “censored” by the media, saying that a “sacred number” attended his speech.

According to the Associated Press, at least 10,000 people attended.

Here is another take on the bogus claim about the crowd size for his November 14, 2020 speech:

Thousands of supporters of President Donald Trump gathered in Washington, D.C. on Saturday to express their support to the commander in chief and his baseless allegations of voter fraud. The protest had several different names, including Million Maga March, Stop the Steal, and March for Trump but they all had the same message: the election has been stolen from Trump. The gathering received praise from members of the administration, including Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary, who tweeted photos of the demonstrations and claimed that “more than one MILLION” people had gathered to support the president. That was a wild exaggeration as all footage from the events show, at most, tens of thousands of people present.

…Many immediately pointed out McEnany’s exaggeration and noted that it brought to mind the way Trump’s first press secretary, Sean Spicer, outright lied to the press about the number of people who attended the president’s inauguration in January, 2017.

NY Post Editorial Denounces Donald Trump

Quite surprising coming from a Murdoch owned news outlet. This editorial is indicative that even Trump’s biggest a apologists are tired of his act. And they could be looking elsewhere in 2024:

A scathing editorial in Saturday’s New York Post lashed former President Donald Trump for “obsessing” over the 2020 presidential election, and urged Republicans to abandon him in the past and move on.

“Trump has become a prisoner of his own ego,” slammed the conservative newspaper controlled by long-time Trump supporter Rupert Murdoch. “He can’t admit his tweeting and narcissism turned off millions. He won’t stop insisting that 2020 was ‘stolen’ even though he’s offered no proof that it’s true.”

Respected officials like former Attorney General Bill Barr call his rants “nonsense,” the editorial added. “This isn’t just about Liz Cheney. Mitch McConnell, Betsy DeVos, Mark Meadows — they all knew Trump was delusional. His own daughter and son-in-law testified it was bull.”

Trump Chief of Staff Burned Documents in a White House Fireplace

That is a crime. So why isn’t Mark Meadows being prosecuted for it?

Among the notable revelations related to the Jan. 6 investigation this week was an unexpected tidbit about Mark Meadows. The New York Times reported that the Republican, who served as Donald Trump’s White House chief of staff, used his office fireplace “to burn documents.”

The reporting hasn’t been independently verified by MSNBC or NBC News, though The Washington Post also reported that some of the witnesses who’ve spoken to the bipartisan select panel “said Meadows used his fireplace to burn documents.”

That should come as no surprise since Trump had a habit of destroying, or stealing, sensitive documents.

During his presidency, Trump was known to tear up papers and throw them in the trash. Aides would scurry to reassemble those papers for archiving, as federal record-keeping laws require.

After leaving the White House, Trump had 15 boxes of documents shipped to Mar-a-Lago. Some of those boxes were marked as classified, according to The Washington Post, and the Justice Department is now investigating the matter. Mishandling classified material is illegal.

Judge orders Trump to pay Omarosa’s $1.3 Million Legal Fees

Former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has been ordered to pay nearly $1.3 million in legal fees to former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman by a New York court arbitrator.

The award, handed down on Tuesday, comes after Trump filed a complaint against Manigault Newman over her 2018 book, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,” in which she called Trump a racist and suggested that he was in “real and serious” mental decline.

A source with the Trump campaign told ABC News that Trump intends to appeal the ruling.

Omarosa makes Trump really mad:

Donald Trump is a “racist” who has used the “N-word” repeatedly, Omarosa Manigault Newman, once the most prominent African American in the White House, claims in a searing memoir.

The future US president was caught on mic uttering the taboo racial slur “multiple times” during the making of his reality TV show The Apprentice and there is a tape to prove it, according to Manigault Newman, citing three unnamed sources.

Trump has been haunted from around the time of his election in 2016 by allegations that outtakes from the reality TV show exist in which he is heard saying the N-word and using other offensive language.

She knows the truth about Trump’s racism:

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman accused President Trump on Sunday of wanting to start a “race war.”

She said Trump’s efforts during the 2016 election to reach out to African-American voters were nothing but a con to win their votes.

“We have a lot to lose and in fact, we’re losing right now because Donald Trump is disingenuous about his engagement and his outreach,” Manigault Newman told the Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s “Politics Nation.” “And, in fact, I think he wants to start a race war in this country.”

She made the pronouncement as she talked about the White House’s hiring practices in response to Sharpton’s question about Trump’s “lily white inner circle” of aides.

“And it’s much worse than people realize,” Manigault Newman replied. “There are 30 special assistants to the president right now. There are none representing the African-American community.”

Candidates of color, she said, were “rejected over and over.”

Federal Judge calls Trump a “Charlatan” and Threat to Democracy

Refreshing frankness from a judge. But the bottom line is Trump is still walking the streets a free man. And he is no closer to going to jail despite his crimes against our republic:

A federal judge on Thursday called Donald Trump a threat to democracy, accusing the former president of instigating a mob of “weak-minded” followers to attack the US Capitol on January 6, Politico reported.

“I think our democracy is in trouble,” US District Judge Reggie Walton said, “because, unfortunately, we have charlatans like our former president who doesn’t, in my view, really care about democracy but only about power.”

Donald Trump endorsed Dr. Oz Now Lots of MAGA are upset with Him

Donald apparently doesn’t seem to give much thought to who he endorses to run for office. This time it could really hurt him:

On Saturday, as CNN shared, Trump went ahead and gave quack TV doc Mehmet Oz, who is running for senator in Pennsylvania, his full endorsement. For many MAGA-ites, this was a total slap in the face (unlike, say, the more than two dozen women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct, leading up to and including rape—because they’re all reportedly just liars). As Raw Story reports, the backlash against Trump for throwing his support behind Oz—whom Jimmy Kimmel once dubbed a “serial testicle fondler”—has been swift and severe. So much so that Breitbart senior editor-at-large Joel Pollack believes the former-and-wannabe-again president could actually lose his base over this single bad decision.

Trump calls the Russian invasion ‘a Holocaust,’ urges Russia “stop killing these people”

You know it’s bad for Putin when even his lapdog has called for him to stop the invasion of Ukraine:

Former President Trump called the Russian invasion into Ukraine “a Holocaust” and urged Russia to stop fighting, a large shift in tone since last week when the former president praised Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s remarks came during a Wednesday interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, widely seen as a Trump ally.

The former president said Russia has “to stop killing these people” and suggested a deal could be worked out to end the conflict.

Very unTrumplike. But he has no choice. His defense of Putin initially backfired bigly. He can’t run for the White House in 2024 with that on his resume:

Trump condemned the military action taking place in Ukraine and said the number of casualties from the war may be higher than being reported.

“We’re fighting Russia. We’re watching a holocaust. We’re watching something that I’ve never seen before.

“They’re blowing up buildings, with children, with women, with professionals, with people, just people, they’re blowing up indiscriminately. They’re just shooting massive missiles and rockets into these buildings and everybody is dying.

“The numbers are far worse than what you’re seeing on television. I don’t know if they keeping them down. When you see buildings being blown up and then they say one person died? Give me a break. Many people are dying and we’re allowing this to happen.”

But he still won’t denounce Putin:

Despite being presented with the opportunity to condemn the Russian president, the former US president notably did not mention Mr Putin by name, nor respond directly to Ms Bartiromo’s question as to whether he deserved respect.
