Head of Police Chief’s Association: Congress needs to Act on Passing Gun Legislation

Chief Dwight Henninger, President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, appearing on CNN, called for Congress to act now to pass comprehensive gun legislation. ‘Thoughts and prayers’ isn’t going to cut anymore, Henninger stated. Henninger also made a statement that might offend gun rights advocates, like the NRA: The 2nd Amendment is not absolute.
