The Governor of Texas and the rightwing are doing damage control. Texas is the capitol of fossil fuels in America. But all that oil is not serving the people of Texas. So what do you if you can’t explain it away. You blame someone else. Blame it on the left and on the non-existing Green New Deal:

Nevermind that some of the coldest countries in the world use wind turbine with no problems. Iowa uses them with great success. Denmark depends on wind for 50 percent of it’s energy. Texas was not prepared. Their turbine blades were not retrofitted to prepare for cold weather. That was a failure of leadership on the part of Texas.
